Wingate Houston near NRG Park/Medical Center

Waseim at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. He made great conversation and helped rent 5 rooms for me and my family. Excellent service.

David, the general manager, was great. He was in the lobby while we were checking in and took the time to have a nice conversation with us, which made us feel very welcome. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. The location is excellent—within walking distance to NRG Stadium.

Great location to NRG stadium!. Easy check in. Room was clean and neat. Bed was uncomfortable and too firm for me. Breakfast on Sunday morning was not what I expected. Yogurt, muffins, cereal, ect. Nothing hot by the time we went around 8 am. The hotel has easy access to the main highway and there are other restaurants near by.

I stayed here for two nights and was charged a $100 deposit. When I checked out, I confirmed the refund date with the front desk staff. They said it would be returned within five days. However, eight days have passed, and I still haven't received my refund. The hotel staff were very attentive.The location is very good, as it is very close to the NRG stadium。

I actually had a company meeting here. The employees are very professional and courteous. They even offered to walk me to the meeting room that was reserved. It was quite a walk due to renovations. That is very understandable. In order to keep the building in it's prime. I will definitely be coming back, for sure. Maybe during vacation and or to visit the attractions near bye.

For the price point, this hotel isn’t as bad as most people are saying it is, imo. Room was clean. The woman at the front desk was friendly when i checked in and the man at the front desk when i checked out was also friendly. Location is perfect for any event at NRG. No bugs. Free parking. A lot of former guests mentioned the AC being loud or not working, mine was fine and made the same amount of noise any other hotel room would make. Idk about the free breakfast as i slept through it. My only issues were that the sink had slow drainage, the plastic shower curtain was missing (cloth one for the outside was there), and for whatever reason the tub was what looked like spray painted toward the drain. Other than that i would def book/stay again.
